Texas Right to Life Endorses Austin Reeve Jackson for July Runoff

Austin Reeve Jackson has gained another key endorsement in the upcoming Republican Primary Runoff election for 114th District Court Judge.

Texas Right to Life, the oldest and largest pro-life organization in the State, announced on Tuesday their endorsement of Jackson in the runoff. Jackson is the only Smith County runoff election candidate endorsed by the organization.

Texas Right to Life Political Director Luke Bowen offered his comments about their decision, “Reeve Jackson is a dynamic, intellectual Pro-Life candidate whom we are proud to endorse for judge of the 114th District Court. We need more courageous judicial candidates like Reeve running for office to restore our nation to its founding principles of Life and liberty.”

Jackson replied, “I am incredibly proud to have received the endorsement of Texas Right to Life. We share a longstanding commitment to protecting the unborn, the disabled, and the sick, and fulfilling our Christian obligation to see God’s image in all of His creation.”

Jackson led the March Primary race with over 44% of the vote, and within 24 hours of the final tally, was endorsed by third-place finisher, Mitch Adams. Jackson will be up against Jarad Kent in the July runoff.

Jackson has also been endorsed by Representative Matt Schaefer and Grassroots America – We the People PAC.

The runoff election will be held Tuesday, July 14, with early voting starting June 29.
