Texas Homeschool Coalition endorses Jackson for Runoff

Texas Homeschool Coalition (THSC) has endorsed Austin Reeve Jackson for Judge of the 114th District Court in the July 14th Runoff Election. The organization is a statewide political action committee with a mission of "informing and electing advocates and defenders of homeschooling and families."

Stephen Howsley of Texas Homeschool Coalition issued a statement, “THSC is proud to endorse Austin Reeve Jackson for 114th District Court in Smith County! Reeve is not only a principled leader, but if elected, he is committed to ruling fairly to protect the rights of families under state and federal law. Smith County families would be well served to have him elected to the bench."

”I am honored to have received an endorsement from the Texas Home School Coalition (THSC),” says Reeve, ”This organization is dedicated to maintaining the liberties of Texas families and is passionate about the political process related to home schooling families and parental rights in Texas. As a father, I am constantly advocating for these same ideals of liberty for not only my own family, but the families within my community. As Judge, I will continue that fight of ensuring our constitutional and God-given rights remain intact."

In addition to THCS, Jackson is endorsed by Grassroots America - We the People, Texas Right to Life, State Representative Matt Schaefer, Smith County District Attorney Jacob Putman and Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith.

Early voting began June 29 with five polling locations around Smith County. Runoff Election Day is Tuesday, July 14.
