Houston Man Pleads to 9 Years for Tyler ATM Burglary

September 11, 2024 - Tyler, TX - Ronnie OBryant Jr., a 31-year-old from Houston, pleaded guilty to a 2021 ATM burglary in Tyler, Texas. OBryant and two accomplices used a stolen truck to rip an ATM from the Cooperative Teachers Credit Union. He was arrested in January 2023 after phone records linked him to the crime. OBryant was sentenced to nine years in prison, with credit for time served. He had also been involved in a previous ATM theft in Arkansas in 2020. His confinement begins immediately following his plea in Judge Jackson’s court.
