Tyler Man Pleads to 45 Years in Connection with Shooting of 3-Year-Old
November 15, 2024 - Tyler, Texas - Darius Davis was sentenced to 45 years in prison in Judge Austin Reeve Jackson’s court after entering into a plea deal for 20 years for unlawful possession of a firearm and 45 years for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. His sentences will run concurrently.
Davis was taken into custody in March after a 3-year-old was injured by a gunshot wound at the Liberty Arms Apartment complex in Tyler. The child received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
