Smith County Kidnapping Suspect Arrested, Woman Found Safe

Tyler, TX - August 22, 2023 - A 24-year-old woman was found safe after being kidnapped by her boyfriend, 40-year-old Ngosi Williams. In the early morning of August 22nd, witnesses report seeing Williams placing a woman in the truck of a sedan with three other men in the vehicle.

The woman was found safe later that afternoon, and Ngosi Williams was arrested and booked into Smith County jail on a warrant signed by Judge Austin Reeve Jackson.
